A health desk for men who read the studies
Written and edited by Zach Highley, MD (verify on LinkedIn ↗). We read the trials, report what they actually found, and cite every one.
Mon–Fri · 5:30 AM ET · every claim cited
Healthy Man Daily is a daily men's-health briefing with the register of a news desk, not a wellness blog. We'd rather tell you the evidence is mixed than sell you certainty — including when the honest answer is “we don't know yet.”
How this works
We read the week's trials, meta-analyses and guideline updates — the primary sources, not the press releases. An MD drafts and edits every issue; no model writes the newsletter — we use tools to check, not to author. Every number and claim links the study behind it, and if a claim can't be sourced, it doesn't ship: scheduling an issue is mechanically blocked until every citation link resolves. It lands in your inbox Mon–Fri at 5:30 AM ET. Four minutes, then get on with your day.
We report what the evidence says; we don't diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Nothing here replaces your own clinician, and we say so on every health page. Uncertainty stays in the story: observational data gets called observational, small trials get called small, and if the honest answer is “mixed,” that's the answer we print.
Numbers do the talking — effect sizes and deltas, not adjectives, and we tell you when the evidence is thin. Plain English, too: “lift,” not “resistance-training modality.” We run sponsors and recommend products — but only ones we've actually used or vetted, every affiliate link is disclosed, and a sponsor never changes what the evidence says. Sponsors never see a story before it ships, and a sponsorship never buys coverage — ads are labeled, full stop. And when better data lands, we update — out loud, in the next issue.
We'd rather tell you the evidence is mixed than sell you certainty.

Don't take our word for it — verify for yourself:
Healthy Man Daily is medical & health reporting — not medical advice, and no substitute for your own clinician. Every claim links to its primary source; when the evidence is mixed, we say so.
The story so far
A doctor gets tired of explaining the same studies one patient at a time, and starts writing them down.
Healthy Man Daily ships its first issues — Mon–Fri, every claim cited.
The daily desk is live. Deep dives, the forum and the print quarterly are next.
Is this really written by a doctor?
Yes. A physician writes and edits every issue, and every claim links to the study behind it. We report what the evidence says — including when it says we don't know yet.
How is it different from other health newsletters?
No hype and no bro science — a news-desk register: the number, the study, the takeaway, in four minutes. When we recommend a product it's something we've actually used, and any affiliate link is disclosed.
What does “every claim cited” mean?
Each statistic and recommendation hyperlinks the trial or meta-analysis it came from, inline, so you can check our work in one click.
Tell us we're wrong
When we get something wrong, we fix the web issue in place and say what changed. Reply to any issue and a person reads it — spot an error and it goes straight to the editor. For everything else: hello@healthymandaily.com or support@healthymandaily.com.
